National State of Emergency. Wednesday - June 23, 9pm. Me better (and the spiral gulab jamons would make me feel. Better). I had wait staff telling me they'd pray for me when they did their puja last night. You'd think The Dalai Lama was on his deathbed! Staff have begged me to go to the hospital. Never fear, Mom, a hospital over here is the equivalent of walking into a Minute Clinic in the States. Remind me never never never to get ill over here again. But if has one bright side - I. The LaLit Ashok - Transformed! The hotel has been ablaze with activity this week in preparation for the big anniversary celebration on Friday night. Thursday, October 25, 2007. The flight home was uneventful – except for the fact that there was no one in the seat next to me, which is always like getting an early Christmas gift.
