Monday, November 26, 2012. Labels: living in the regions; trivia. Sunday, November 25, 2012. I've been eyeing this pattern on the various online fabric sites I've recently discovered. It was a little bit pricey in one store but on all the others it was sold out so I finally relented and bought it. Saturday, November 17, 2012. Friday, November 16, 2012. The Spiralling Shape: The river ran through us

http://spirallingshape.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-river-ran-through-us.html

Friday, February 1, 2013. The river ran through us. Labels: living in the regions. I have been thinking of you and I saw Bundaberg on the ABC news tonight with the poor people being messed about by the authorities: right hand/left hand- neither knows what the other is doing. I am glad your house was not flooded and it is pretty normal to have survivor guilt. We saw the same thing with the houses miraculously spared by the recent fires. Adversity certainly brings out the best in us. I choose not to run.

The Spiralling Shape: September 2012

Saturday, September 29, 2012. The 39th Birthday Skirt. What did you do this year on your birthday? I'm betting you didn't wake up and think: "I know! It's been almost 20 years since I sewed anything. I think I'll make myself a skirt! Elastic waist, no zip, various lengths. The lady on the packet looks happy so how hard could making the skirt possibly be? Then after much deliberating I decided on a dark patterned material (in case I made a dreadful hash of it), bought some thread and took it all home.

Sunday, August 26, 2012. Saccharine promos make me ill. Sadly, I have no tales of incident-packed personal grooming for you today. I managed to shave my legs again yesterday without any leftover salad hijinks. It's been a week of busy busy busy. Ohof course I watched Rockwiz. That goes without saying because it is the best thing on the teev at the moment. Mary Wilson from the Supremes last week was truly inspirational. When I grow up I want to be Julie Zemiro. http://spirallingshape.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Saturday, July 21, 2012. Living in the regions; trivia blogging. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Yes we all wear glasses. Yes we all wear glasses. We're nerds. My only disappointment was the gigantic crowd at the merchandise counter which meant we could not get anywhere near anything. That, and the delight of the hopelessly huge traffic jam that greeted us on the way out as well. Driving in Brisbane is less than lovely. Anyway, here's one of my favourite songs that they didn't play. Enjoy. Tuesday, July 3, 2012.

The Spiralling Shape: a la Mr Henry Rollins

http://spirallingshape.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-la-mr-henry-rollins.html

Sunday, January 20, 2013. A la Mr Henry Rollins. I agree, I loved Being Erica, but they never showed the final season. Canadian TV seems quite interesting. I remember a show when I was younger set in an isolated town. I wonder if I can search and find it? January 21, 2013 at 8:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I choose not to run. Trying to Run - A UK Running Blog

Ankle Problem Improving and 3 Runs. Posted September 16th, 2011. I think the strapping up of my ankle on my long run last Sunday has helped as since Monday my ankle has cleared up really well… well enough for me to tweak my schedule to a quick 6m on Tuesday, 10m on Thursday and 3m this evening with the long 16m on Sunday. Run 1 – Tuesday: 6m. Run 2 – Thursday: 10M. Felt good enough to extend my usual 8 miler to 10 miles with this being the last real. Run 3 – Tonight (Friday) : 3M. In Aches and Pains.

An attempt to save my sanity. This English degree has to be good for something, right? One day for grade school. I wrote a poem entitled Asshole. Composed of just an asterisk.
