Restoring a 1974 San Juan 24 Sailboat. Monday, September 19, 2011. I removed the mast head and base fittings to replace the sheaves, halyards and wiring. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. I have added 120 pounds (about 9%) to the bottom of the keel. This weight is made up of four lead pigs lag-bolted to the keel and sealed with 3M 5200.
