Keep Me In Stitches: Stitch til you Twitch
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/06/stitch-til-you-twitch.html
Friday, June 13, 2014. Stitch til you Twitch. So I went a little crazy. It all started the day I stumbled across this on Pintrest. Does it make your heart flutter when you look at it? At first I thought it was done on pegboard but after visiting the site, I found out it was a rug made by an artist and cross stitched on wool padding. It's also horrifically expensive, at least for my budget. That didn't stop me from loving it however. The neatest thing about it is how it changes depending on what angle you...

Keep Me In Stitches: Zippered Project Pouch
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/06/zippered-project-pouch.html
Thursday, June 12, 2014. The pattern for this project pouch was the finishing prize for our local Quilt Shop Hop a couple of years ago. I never made it because.well, it involves a zipper and I am terrified of zippers! When I was in South Dakota a in October, mom and I hit the local quilt shops while dad was at work and I found this quilting themed fabric there. I knew instantly what I wanted to use it for, and I finally got around to making this cute little bag. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Keep Me In Stitches: A Tisket, A Tasket, A Bicycle With A Basket
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2009/07/tisket-tasket-bicycle-with-basket.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2009. A Tisket, A Tasket, A Bicycle With A Basket. I wanted a vintage bike. I love that cruisers are back in style and much easier to find these days. The bike I really wanted was this one. So in the end I go this bike. I asked the guy at the bike store if they had baskets, he took me over and showed me some little back pack looking saddle bag things and I told him "No, I want a basket, on the front of my bike." He said "What? Like the Wicked Witch of the West? I snatched that puppy r...

Keep Me In Stitches: Temple Square
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2010/12/temple-square.html
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. The same night we went to the Grand America, we took the kids to Temple Square. This is the first time they have been to see the lights at Temple Square because I was always too terrified to take them up there in that crowd. Main Street Park was also full of lights, more so than the square itself. It's not the Temple Square I remember, but it was still beautiful and worth the trip I think, even though it was raining the entire time we were there. December 28, 2010 at 1:09 PM.

Keep Me In Stitches: Chalky Pink Perfection
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/06/chalky-pink-perfection.html
Friday, June 20, 2014. I have wanted to dip my toes in the Chalk Paint waters for quite some time now, but I'm a coward, what can I say? I was cleaning my bedroom the other day and I have a HUGE long wall in my bedroom, seriously, it's like 18' long! I got on the local classifieds website and did a search for dressers. I came across this beauty but it was 56 miles away, up two canyons. But it was a huge 71" long! The only drawback was that I had to completely rearrange my bedroom. I'm still working o...

Keep Me In Stitches: Sarah's Key
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2008/01/sarahs-key.html
Friday, January 25, 2008. Every once in a while you read a book that changes how you feel inside and alters how you view and think about the world. The Diary of Anne Frank was one of those books for me. It opened my eyes to the presence of true evil in my world. I felt anger, fear, righteous indignation, sadness, hopelessness, anxiety, frustration. I was captivated and was unable to put this book down until it was finished. This book is #1 on my recomendation list right now. Please read it. I am a wife, ...

Keep Me In Stitches: Ring of Roses
http://scrapnchick-keepmeinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/07/ring-of-roses.html
Wednesday, July 2, 2014. I've been sewing up a storm and I have to say that this quilt is much more involved than I thought, and I already thought it was going to be tricky. I have had a few hair pulling moments so far but have managed to piece four blocks together to get a little sneak peek of what this quilt will eventually look like. Labels: Double Wedding Ring. I think Im going to love it too! I cant wait to see how the ends of the rings are going to come together. July 6, 2014 at 8:34 AM.
