Example Donated Christmas Toys. Each year the Village Woodworker’s Club makes over four hundred toys and presents for special children and organizations in Garland and Saline counties. A special thanks goes out to the Doll Ladies who refurbish dolls and make doll clothing and blankets for dolls placed in woodworker built cradles and highchairs. The Central Arkansas Woodturners (CAW) club was formed around 1998 by several members of the Hot Springs Village Woodworkers. An ongoing relationship was formed with the National Park College. NPC) in Hot Springs when the college made its meeting facility and woodshop available for monthly meetings. Club members provided a lathe and personnel to teach woodturning to students.
