I'm excited and a bit "nervous". Proper execution is so vital for this to work. Most people go too hard on these intervals, so I'll be using both HR, Watts and lactate to monitor and adjust the intensity. I'm doing 5 x 4 minute efforts mostly, with a few longer 30-40 minute distance sessions to spice things up.

Personal comments and reflections on bicycle related stuff. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Cloudy and a bit chilly today but again my windstopper bibs and jacket proved effective. Rode with the middle group and we had a really good ride. The speed sections felt good and a particularly hilly section that i usually have trouble with went really well today. I guess the Tuesday Hill Intervals pay off at last. Total Time: 2.43. Total Distance: 80 km. Average Speed: 29.4 km/h. Max Speed: 61.2 km/h. Links to this post.
