Young Mighty Men of God: Lessons of thankfulness
http://youngmightymenofgod.blogspot.com/2011/11/lessons-of-thankfulness.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. I love this time of year, but for some reason I am overly tired and grumpy. On one hand I feel sorry for my sweet family that they have to put up with my crankiness and on the other hand I blame them for it! These comments were made by me in the past few days. You are not allowed to use your imagination anymore! I am tired of you fighting over superhero powers! Please stop asking for mommy and daddy. Can you just pretend like you don't have parents for 5 minutes? Hey, it's Jade!

Yankee Mothering Gone South: November 2013

Yankee Mothering Gone South. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Ok, so I am struggling a bit with Christmas gifts this year. Yes, I have already started shopping - I just love to plan for, search for and give people gifts! Have you ever heard of the "5 Love Languages? Well, the way I show. Love is by giving gifts (got that from my mother). PS - that's not necessarily the way that I feel. Love, so this is not a plea for lots of presents for me this Christmas. :). So what am I struggling with exactly? Jesus neve...

Spence-sense and Nonsense: New Beginnngs
http://bradandjanelle.blogspot.com/2011/09/new-beginnngs.html
September 7, 2011. Sadie started preschool today! It was rainy so we didn't get a picture outside the preschool. Sadie, and her friend Sadie. Since Sadie was starting something new today, I decided to try something I've been resisting for years.Facebook. Yep, I'm tired of slow Blogger and I'm realizing that if you want to know the latest and greatest about your friends and family, you really have to be on Facebook. I don't know what I'm doing but hopefully I'll learn and we can be friends :).

Spence-sense and Nonsense: June 2011
http://bradandjanelle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
June 27, 2011. We were on vacation last week with my family. It is our annual trip to Rehoboth Beach, Deleware where we meet up with my parents, my 2 brothers and their families. It's always a great time and when I get time, I'll upload the pictures to share. In the meantime here's a funny tidbit from Sadie. Sadie loves shoes and girlie things. Today we were in one of my favorite stores - Goodwill - and Sadie found some. 2 immediate thoughts jumped in my head:. Wow, were did that comment come from? Water...

Young Mighty Men of God: June 2011

Sunday, June 12, 2011. Wash your children with the Word. I led a bible study for mothers in our house this past week and this is what I shared. It is combined from lessons and letters from my Titus 2 women in my life. It is too good not to pass on. I know how much it has helped us in our household. Speak over your children Words of life, the Holy Spirit will wash their hearts and minds and cleanse them because the truth will set them free to be victorious and mighty men/women of God that they are. Yankee Mothering Gone South: February 2013
http://yankeemotheringgonesouth.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Yankee Mothering Gone South. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. When is the last time that you memorized something? Was it a name, an address, a scene from a movie, or a song? Even people who say they can't memorize things have, in all actuality, memorized quite a few things in life. Come on, you at least know your SS#, right? Memorization is good for the brain - and for the soul. Here's an even better question - when was the last time you memorized a verse of scripture? Was it a week ago, or a year (like me)?

Yankee Mothering Gone South: First words
http://yankeemotheringgonesouth.blogspot.com/2014/02/first-words.html
Yankee Mothering Gone South. Thursday, February 13, 2014. Samuel is 8 months old and saying a bunch of really cute sounds! He has not said any words yet, but he has been "practicing". (I classify a word as something said with a purpose behind it) I am happy to announce that one of his first, and most intelligent sounds, was "mama". I was thrilled! Everyone heard him saying "mama" and I was really very tickled that it looked like he would be the first child to say my. He always wants to be held by Nathan.

Yankee Mothering Gone South: October 2013
http://yankeemotheringgonesouth.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Yankee Mothering Gone South. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Here in babyland the name of the game is SLEEP. So, when our little boy started to get out of his swaddle and wake-up more often, we went in search of some help. Sooo, we bought a Woombie. I had always heard about them, but had never seen one used. A few friends said they had used one and liked it. I went in search of them online and found the cheapest ones on the actual "Woombie" website (they were $10 cheaper than the other retailers! Awesome Inc...
