Twilight Tour of Wakefield's Old Burying Ground

Twilight Tour of the. The Wakefield Historical Society invites you to step back into the past to visit the town's Old Burying Ground. Originally laid out in 1689, the Burying Ground is the home of some of the town's first settlers. Gravestones from the earliest town cemetery were moved to this location. Join us in this walk into the past on. Friday, October 30th at 5:15 pm. We will meet in front of the First Parish Congregational Church at 1 Church Street, and begin our journey into yesterday.
