http://sprintforever.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
THE AGELESS ATHLETIC SPIRIT: Masters Track training and lifestyle of a 50 sprinter. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The old standard 4 x 400m tempo workout with 2 min rest in between. Waited at the KCD track for the rain to stop, I went out just before dark despite the lightning everywhere, didn't even want to hold on to the fence for my leg swings and stretches. Spooky. The rain had cooled down the temperature to about 68º and it was nice. Saucony Triumph trainers on. 400m warmup, stretches, drills. The last 30...

THE AGELESS ATHLETIC SPIRIT: Masters Track training and lifestyle of a 50 sprinter. Saturday, November 29, 2014. At the Sewanee track today, upper 40ºs, cloudy and breezy. I did up tempo intervals today and unfortunately, tweeked my left ham. This is the first significant injury I've had in training this fall. Won't know how significant it is for a day or two. I don't think it's serious, although it may keep me out of Saturday's meet. Saucony Ride trainers on. 400m warmup, stretches, drills. Did a mixed ...

THE AGELESS ATHLETIC SPIRIT: Masters Track training and lifestyle of a 50 sprinter. Monday, December 29, 2014. Rethinking Athletics: September 2016
http://rethinkingathletics.blogspot.com/2016_09_01_archive.html
17 September, 2016. This site is an incontrovertible must. I cannot believe I have never given a link to one of the best sites for athletics fans out there: Watch Athletics. Most of the videos of Watch Athletics are on YouTube. However accessing them through the site simplifies everything since you do not have to search for them among the zillions of videos of YouTube. (And, yes, I know that Google, the owner of YouTube, is excellent at searching, but I still prefer the simpler solution). The funny thing...

http://sprintforever.blogspot.com/2015/08/wma-world-championships-day-2.html
THE AGELESS ATHLETIC SPIRIT: Masters Track training and lifestyle of a 50 sprinter. Monday, August 10, 2015. WMA World Championships - day 2. World Championship Bronze Medal. M55 - 25.08. James C. was a close 5th and Gerhard Z. 6th. Bruno crossed the line celebrating with his finger in the air, comfortably ahead. It was very close for the bronze. 3rd-6th place was separated by just 0.18 sec. I feel fortunate to have a medal. Besides Lee who won bronze in M45, many of the big guns of the USA Masters m...
