LOCATION: Fort Missoula Road, Watson Children’s Shelter and Community Medical Center. 8:00 am Registration Opens. 9:00 am 12:00 pm Bike Rodeo and Strider Bike Course. 9:30 am 11 Mile Neighborhood Ride*. 10:00 am 11:00 am 2 Mile Fort Missoula Fun Ride. 11:00 am Registration Closes. 10:00 am 1:00 pm Bounce House, Face Painting, Sack Races, Carnival Games. 11:00 am Barbecue Opens, Miniature Horse Cart Rides. 11:15 am 12:00 pm Music - TBA. 12:05 pm Drawings and Awards (costume, bike raffle, bingo cards).

Each year, over 100 children, age infant to 14, are brought to Watson Children’s Shelter because. They have been abused, neglected, abandoned or their family is in crisis. Most are brought to the shelter by the police or social workers. The children stay, on average, 60-90 days, though some children remain longer until their family crisis is resolved or suitable long-term options can be arranged.
