Germinate: to begin to develop, to sprout. Glean: to pickup leavings in a field, to collect little by little. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. I am sometimes overwhelmned by the good people in my life. And these two have become my May friends, coming to me last year in May, my first visitors in a long line of visitors during a challenging year. And again, in May we reunite with a smaller one to join. How grateful I am for good, good, souls. Rach at Lake Montebello. Rita, Rach and Lucia. May 19, 2010 at 8:51 AM.

On monday I met with my spiritual director, a sister of st. joseph, who is kind and the best listener I have yet to encounter. We talked about the challenges ahead. This is the piece of land getting my energy right now. Its in College Park Md behind a catering business. You can't tell that is has been tilled twice and needs to be tilled again. It is a modest 1/4 acre, which I wonder if it is capable of growing anything. We can only hope. Teresa and Eric, fabulous helpers. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. 7 Bees are Amazing!

Nothing. Nevermind.: 2X the FUN. 2X the LOVE.
http://turkenboyden.blogspot.com/2015/02/2x-fun-2x-love.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. 2X the FUN. 2X the LOVE. So far, having 2 kids is NO FUN. It has been made more NO FUN by the fact that #1 child has been sick and throwing up every other night, and that he has not been to the babysitter in a few days. And really, he's just at an age where he's a big ol' dick. Pardon the expression. I have no idea how the juggling of work and the demands of these 2 children is going to happen once Jeannie and I go back to work. NO IDEA. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Phantastes – a brief review | Six O'Clock Vintage

Phantastes – a brief review. Fter reading George MacDonald’s “Phantastes” it is clear to me why CS Lewis chose MacDonald to be his Virgil in “The Great Divorce.”. 8220;Phantastes” is poignant and strong, it tells the truth and brings spiritual health for it strengthens the mind and purifies the heart. Pretty good for a book, eh? General description of the book. Or many other stories like it but few told with such Godlike mystical imagination and grace. On Sep 17, 2008 in Literature. Sep 23, 2008.

Fun in the Mud: December 2007
http://fun-in-the-mud.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Fun in the Mud. Because you might as well laugh. Friday, December 21, 2007. On attaining pre-pregnancy mass. Last week my wifelet made some homemade biscuits for my work X-mas party. As she was pulling them out of the oven (at around 9:00pm) we had the following conversation:. Wifelet: Do you want one? They smell good, but I’m really not hungry. Wifelet: I know what you mean; my mouth says ‘yes,’ my stomach says ‘no,’ and my hips say ‘what are you thinking you crazy woman.’. Posted by Chris @ 1:54 PM.
