The Weavers Family: Pottery
http://weaversfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/pottery.html
Michael, Gill, Samantha and Benjamin Our Life as we live it. As some of you know, I took up Pottery at the beginning of the year. I am a member of the Mt Pleasant Pottery Group. Its just 5 mins down the road and I have a key to the rooms, so I can go anytime. I have been going to a night class on Tuesday - and it is Fantastic. I have been collecting old antique stamps, old Indian woodblocks and various interesting items to make my impressions into clay (cant give away my secrets! I picked up this beautif...

http://weaversfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-birthday-celebrations.html
Michael, Gill, Samantha and Benjamin Our Life as we live it. Today I turned 34. Thirty four. is that old? To be honest I stopped remembering how old I was once I turned 26 - weird! I am happy, married to a wonderful man with 2 gorgeous children. I have a cozy home and a great big yard and lovely garden to enjoy. I like 34. For me) with banana, bacon, strawberries and maple syrup. Yum= Full. I am still full - maybe because have gotten used to eating not much these days as I am over GF. They do a mean GF.

Michael, Gill, Samantha and Benjamin Our Life as we live it. Mini Holiday -house sitting. They call it house-sitting? Like baby-sitting I suppose! So Samantha likes to get them all. Anyway he is more interested in gathering big pebble rocks off the driveway into his red bucket. There is one black hen that is always out of the chicken coop, so we have fun 'chasing' it back inside. And is more interested in just floating around on his own than having Mummy come up and bother his fun! Benji and Mike surfing!

http://weaversfamily.blogspot.com/2009/11/campervan-trip-to-ashley-gorge.html
Michael, Gill, Samantha and Benjamin Our Life as we live it. Campervan trip to Ashley Gorge! Benji - Ashley Gorge. Benji and I with numb feet. Over the weekend, I was offered the use of a 6 berth Maui camper. huge 7 meters long and full of fun! It was a manual tho, which made it harder to drive being the seat wasn't. Able to adjust down and I had a hard time reaching the clutch sometimes! Not to mention "reverse" was hard to find. These were our Sleeping quarters :-). It was lovely and sunny the whole ti...

A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Thursday, February 28, 2008. Kaelyn was teaching Joshie his ABC's yesterday. He was singing the alphabet as she was writing it on the dry erase board. Here's how the conversation went. Kaelyn: Go ahead Joshie. Joshie: (singing) A B C D A F G. Kaelyn: (interrupting) *E* F G. Joshie: giggles.then.H R S. Kaelyn: *H* *I* *J*. Joshie: giggles.then. A Day in the Life: March 2008
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Ive been tagged by Amber! Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Chandler picked out the bass.recorded it with his mp3 player.played it on his stereo.and played the solo on top of it. I've been tagged by Amber! Ten silly things you may not know about me. 1) My socks have to be perfectly straight before I can put my shoes on.and I will stop no matter where I am to take my shoes off and straighten them if they get twisted. 3) I always wanted to sing with a rock band.
A Day in the Life: October 2008
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Friday, October 31, 2008. Our mortgage company totally bungled our account.and, naturally, being the government entity that it is, no one had a clue what was going on. I think we've gotten it straightened out now.time will tell. David was finally able to go back to work yesterday after a week long bout with vaccine-related issues. I'll just leave it as that.don't want to stir up too much controversy.not at this point in my week anyway. Seems to me that may...
A Day in the Life: November 2008
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Anger vs. Pain. Sunday, November 30, 2008. This is our Advent Calendar.with a twist. I had one growing up, and I loved counting the days until Christmas. I did not want to make 5 separate calendars.so we made 1 big one. And rather than having candy attached to the calendar, we wrote out clues for each day for each child. So they will have a treasure for the day's candy or treat. I don't usually do these.but here goes anyway. 1 Real tree or artificial?
A Day in the Life: December 2008
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Mary, Did You Know? Do They REALLY Get It? Wednesday, December 31, 2008. We say this every year.but I just can't believe it's gone by so fast! I think it was just June yesterday when I woke up.where did the time go? I went to sleep last night dreaming of the *me* I want to be this coming year. I won't say it's a resolution.Michelle is right.that word just stinks of failure! Wednesday, December 17, 2008. Mary, Did You Know? This is David's favorite Christma...
A Day in the Life: June 2008
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Monday, June 30, 2008. The older 2 boys are at camp this week. I'm sure it will be a blast for them. We've figured out how to cover their chores and stuff while they're gone. I'm deciding now it will be a good week! We had our church 4th of July party yesterday. It was great! We've started counselling with a personal financial coach, who has written us a plan to be out of debt in 10 years.including the house! At first I was frustrated that it would take us...
A Day in the Life: Seriously?!
http://dnkfreed.blogspot.com/2009/09/seriously.html
A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Tuesday, September 1, 2009. This is a second attempt at coherently expressing my thoughts on vaccinations. I read an article today by the CDC that stated that the reason that *people* are *catching* the *swine* flu virus, is because the virus has *mutated*. When I brought this up to Chandler and Kaelyn, who have taken high school biology, they both looked at me like I was crazy. VIRUSES DO NOT MUTATE! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

A Day in the Life. Poppy, Grandma, and the Crew. Monday, May 12, 2008. Wowso much going on lately. Sothe trip to Florida was awesome! I KNEW the moment I saw that meeting scheduled in Sarasota that David needed to go.I KNEW it would change our lives.and it has.already! I don't even know where to start to say HOW! Or maybe it's just that I'm just weird.lol. With all the talk about the Lakeland revival, Jen sent a link to watch it on the 'net.and so we did last night. Todd Bentley talked about drea...He al...

The Weavers Family
Michael, Gill, Samantha and Benjamin Our Life as we live it. This time we are heading off to Peel Forest, which is largely a DOC area. We found a great open space camping ground with perfect areas to put the hammock up and go for nice walks. We have been packing all day and Mike has loaded up the caged trailer, all waterproofed and ready to go! Food shopping has been done (3 lots) and now its time to rest. See you all next year and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Gill @ Mudbird Ceramics. Merry Christmas - 2009.
