Monday, February 25, 2013. Where am I this week? My business travel resumed with a vengeance on February 3rd and continues for the next two weeks. I had gotten rather accustomed to being home every night and seeing family/friends. I will be interested to see what my travel schedule resembles this year as I spent the last six months working from our local office, partly due to recovering from back surgery in June and partly due to the way the workload/budget concerns worked out. Sunday, December 2, 2012. I love, love, love the holidays! It would be nice if the weather would cooperate and it would "feel" like the holidays - cool, but not too cold. Stan has put up the lights and tree so Teddy and I are enjoying watching the lights at night. I must confess that I have enjoyed shopping online this year more than going shopping store to store. Maybe this is a result of getting older. I still enjoy shopping, but it gets rather crazy in the stores this time of year. The Weight of It All.

Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Getting ready to ride. In preparation for the MS150 Bike ride in May, I am back in the gym on a regular basis. I must say . it feels marvelous! I am now up to 45 to 60 minutes on the bike or a split between treadmill, bike or elliptical for that time period. Friday, October 19, 2012. That also means getting highly visible projects with very little time to get up to speed on the project. But that's okay because in less than 30 days, I will be in the Caribbean soaking up the sun, enjoying alcoholic fun beverages, playing in the casino and who knows what else. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. It is hard to believe that three months have passed since I had my back surgery. At my 12-week follow up, my surgeon was pleased by my progress - pain levels are down significsntly (I don't think that I will ever go without some degree of back pain) which was the expected outcome and I am regaining mobility and flexibility in my back again. Monday, May 13, 2013. If you've followed my blog, you are aware that the pastor at my church died in October of 2011. Our church is one of those that does not have a governing board at a regional level that can just shift pastors around. Our church put together a pastor search committee a hair over a year ago.
