The Rush | Lindsey's Blog

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Being “On”. March 26, 2010. Well, it’s been awhile since I have been able to post. This week has been more crazy than my entire life combine, it seems. I started off the week catching up on homework, working, sending wedding invitations, and interviewing at K-State. For those who don’t know what that process looks like, imagine two days full of campus/city tours and seven interviews, socials and the like. Intense! Till next time…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 18, 2010. Oh, the joys of writing. I really enjoy it, but especially when I write letters. Which is probably why this last assignment for class went pretty well. I enjoy writing letters to my friends and family back home, and it was fun to write a professional letter about something I encountered to a magazine. Hopefully they will publish it! Here’s where I am sending my article, check them out! Till next time…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. March 10, 2010. Well, here I am, about to embark on yet another awesome job searching journey! I was accepted at Clemson University in South Carolina for a campus interview and Mark and I are leaving tomorrow after he is done working to drive the 16-hour treck to the east coast. I’m really excited; Mark and I enjoy traveling and stopping to hike, fulfill our tourist longings, catch up on each other’s life and plan our wedding. 🙂 Plus this awesome paw print:. Even as I ...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 3, 2010. Whenever I go home, it is to be assumed that I will be put to work. I live on a farm, and there is always something needing to be done. This weekend, it’s painting and working cows. (Working cows means we tag and brand the cattle.). Till next time…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Personal Experience Story | Jamescbanks's Blog

March 31, 2010. In light of the fact that I don’t have time to attend the district meetings that were going to constitute the basis of my original idea of a personal experience story for class, I have decided to change my focus a little. I thought that instead of focusing on my hometown and all of its troubles, I’d do something a little more personal (that is the assignment, after all). Disturbing, I know. Posted by Jim Banks. Crunch Time for the Last Time | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/04/15/crunch-time-for-the-last-time
Crunch Time for the Last Time. April 15, 2010. When I think about graduation, I get seized by nerves. Not because I think I won’t or I don’t have a job lined up (well maybe the job thing a little). It’s because I have a TON of stuff to do in the next few weeks and the thought of being so close to the end and failing is terrifying. I know if I put my nose to the proverbial grindstone I can do it. I still have a lot of hours to put in. Let’s get started. Posted by Jim Banks. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Archive for March, 2010. Older Entries ». March 31, 2010. The day before I went to Lubbock for what would hopefully be my last interview, I finally gave everything that I was doing and preparing for up to God, because no matter if I did extravagantly there, if it was not meant to be, I would not go there. Instantly I felt at peace. Till next time…. March 28, 2010. Good job basketball boys! March 26, 2010. Well, it’s been awhile since I have been able to post. ...I start...
