The Plaid Room: October 2010
http://thegsenfeldt.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A personal exploration of the Cocktail Nation. Sunday, October 17, 2010. This beer from Dogfish is a chocolaty ale purportedly based upon Mayan archeology. To me, the taste of chocolate is more about malt than cocoa. There is a sweetness that comes from the added honey, and spice notes from ancho chili. This combination of spices and cocoa sounds overwhelming, but the execution, ah the execution of Dogfish Head. The finish is complicated and deeply textured, extravagant but somehow subtle.

Mental lacunas from a Liberal Left-handed Libertarian living on the Left Coast. Sunday, March 1, 2009. Legos = Geek Love. Last night I had the pleasure of hanging out at my friends Bryce. What made this meeting even better was one of the other guests at the party wa...

http://danaconstance.blogspot.com/2009/03/hangover-post.html
Mental lacunas from a Liberal Left-handed Libertarian living on the Left Coast. Saturday, March 7, 2009. Well, I had no intention on having a few drinks in the city on my birthday. I really. Had no intention at stopping by our local island legend tiki bar. In honor or my hangover, an ode to the 1980's, the time of my youth, and to the young ones today who think that the 80's must have been. T he coolest time ever to be alive,. The Constant Contrarian: Post Vacation
http://danaconstance.blogspot.com/2009/03/post-vacation.html
Mental lacunas from a Liberal Left-handed Libertarian living on the Left Coast. Monday, March 23, 2009. The absolute highs of a fantastic vacation can only be followed by the inevitable lows of post vacation life. Between the drama of a friend's marriage falling apart quite badly to an insane perking up of potential work opportunities for the firm, I've barely had time to shake the sand out of my sandals since we arrived back in Northern California. Quick snapshots from the holiday:. For MS Outlook or Ir...

Mental lacunas from a Liberal Left-handed Libertarian living on the Left Coast. Thursday, March 5, 2009. One Year Left to Live (Thirtysomething). Forgive me this self-indulgent entry (even though it is my blog) and note that tomorrow (March 6th) is my 39th birthday, which means I have exactly one year left to live as a thirtysomething. Soon I will on a ship sailing west to the Blessed Realm of the Elves (forgive me again for watching the LOTR movies over the rainy weekend). Isn't 40 the new 30? A graphic...

Mental lacunas from a Liberal Left-handed Libertarian living on the Left Coast. Friday, March 13, 2009. But family visits do not count as real vacations. Vacations are true getaways from one's world and, hopefully, oneself. .
