Morning SonRise: 31 August 2008
http://morningsonrise.blogspot.com/2008_08_31_archive.html
Have a wonderful, blessed day, and may you see the hand of God in all that you do. Thursday, September 04, 2008. OK, so it's time I get this out . . . I have been mulling it over, chewing on it, processing through and all that junk for far too long . . . I need to "talk it through" to really process it, I think. Reading the Word is like chewing on leather, and prayer just seems to just dissipate like mist. Where does that leave me? In this darkness, John pursued God even more relentlessly, more passionat...

Monday, November 24, 2008. Why can't I be like that all the time? That should never become ho-hum, and I should NEVER cease to marvel at the fact that He chose me. When He could have chosen anyone else . . . so many others so much BETTER than me, so much better . . . yet He dug to t...Passionately Pursuing God,.

Morning SonRise: Stepping Down...
http://morningsonrise.blogspot.com/2008/12/stepping-down.html
Have a wonderful, blessed day, and may you see the hand of God in all that you do. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. I have been thinking a lot lately (I know, VERY uncommon for me :D) about Jesus . . . What do you suppose it was like for Him to step down out of eternity into the finite? How do you think it felt for Him to give up the infinite for the fragile? I wonder what it must have been like for Him. I also wonder if I would recognize Him . . . would I know Him as a child? Would I recognize my King?

Have a wonderful, blessed day, and may you see the hand of God in all that you do. Thursday, May 22, 2008. Waiting is so hard to do . . . I really am a product of my generation - I want it, and I want it NOW! Yet, as you can see, I've been going through a bit of a spiritual dry-spell lately, and can't seem to "shake" it. I have tried EVERYTHING that has worked in the past, and yet I still feel so disconnected. From God and His life-giving passion. Indeed, "blessed are those who wait for Him! So, maybe God.

meagan elizabeth: Response to Haiti's Earthquake
http://meagangibson.blogspot.com/2010/01/response-to-haitis-earthquake.html
The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience." -Eleanor Roosevelt. Thursday, January 14, 2010. Response to Haiti's Earthquake. Due to the devastating earthquake in Haiti on Tuesday, Global Outreach (as well as other departments) has received many emails and phone calls wondering what we as a church are going to do to respond to this. This has been my (and close to the rest of our teams) response all day:. We en...

Guin: this could be good, it's already better than that
http://guinstanton.blogspot.com/2011/01/this-could-be-good-its-already-better.html
Sunday, January 30, 2011. This could be good, it's already better than that. It's been a long time. A really long time. I've been telling myself for probably a year now that I'm going to get back into blogging. Then I'll start a post and eventually forget about it. I have at least 10 drafts saved with nothing but one or two sentences. So yeah, I'm a terrible blogger. Things have been. going. I'm finally. Now good luck trying to find a job! Or for me, "good luck getting into grad school! Inspirations from...

Morning SonRise: 28 September 2008

Have a wonderful, blessed day, and may you see the hand of God in all that you do. Saturday, October 04, 2008. God's Beauty. . . I am here in Vernon, AZ enjoying a weekend of solitude and silence (well, almost). Can I just say that it is amazing! It is cloudy and windy and cool . . . the view out the window is spectacular, and I am just soaking it all up. It shows character. Scars show strength and the beauty that comes from those ashes is breathtaking. God is the most amazing artist, isn't He? As an art...
