https://thatmauritianfoodie.wordpress.com/2016/11/11/diy-bday-cakes
Kitchen, Camera and Me. A love triangle. Birthday Cakes, Me-Made. November 11, 2016. November 11, 2016. For my mom’s 50th Birthday this year, I decided to make the cake myself (a first). Actually, we were going to be 40 people and the cake is becoming so SO costly for all these people. Seriously, yummy cakes in Mauritius make our wallets suffer badly I dunno why! So there, some websites later, I made my decision of what to do. For the cakes and cupcakes. For the marshmallow pops. 4 Comments Add yours.

THE RECIPE (makes 9 large cupcakes). 165 g self-raising flour. 165 g unsalted butter (at room temp.). 165 g caster sugar. 240 g Bounty spread.

Ruminations of a Raven. Let the ink gush. October 16, 2016. November 13, 2016. Dear 16-year-old me,. Hey girl, how are you doing? I should tell you that I am in a great place right now, even though it is not the one you had sketched out for me. You were such a romantic and borderline foolish, God, I can still see it in my head. It is funny how we are both the same person yet I dissociate myself from you and view you as another entity. Make mistakes, though, only then will you realise your true passion.
