A Martagon in my garden – in the autumn light
https://intheautumnlight.com/2011/07/05/a-martagon-in-my-garden
In the autumn light. A Martagon in my garden. Last year I came across a Martagon lily at a local garden centre and did a little dance of joy. I have wanted a Martagon for years. Once home, I planted it near the main walk in the back garden. This spring, I was secretly thrilled with the appearance of new green shoots. So, thank you Martagon, for the inspiration. Long may you bloom. Tagged: Lilium martagon Martagon lily. A spring in my step. An autumn’s work. 17 thoughts on “ A Martagon in my garden. I wen...

A different kind of white I like – in the autumn light
https://intheautumnlight.com/2010/03/03/a-different-kind-of-white-i-like
In the autumn light. A different kind of white I like. Today while walking the dog, I thought about how much. They linger in my mind long after the flowers have finished blooming.Do you have a favourite flower scent that holds good memories for you? A spring in my step. The Garden Ms. S. Garden Plant List for Zone 3 | Northern Shade Gardening
http://northernshade.ca/plant-list
Gardening in a cold climate under the trees. This beautiful fern has a delicate appearance with its thin black stalks and its airy looking foliage, but it is hardy. It looks great in the shade under trees and contrasts nicely with broad leafed plants. 8216;Diamant’ (astilbe). 8216;Europa’ (astilbe). This is a medium sized astilbe with a terrific soft pink flower. The flower colour is my favourite of all astilbes. When the flower fades to brown, I leave them on the plant for winter interest.
