Leave nothing but footprints. Suddenly the emotions flood through me. It is not flashbacks of scenes. My memory is too poor for that sort of details. But the feelings that I did not even realise I had in me came back through, and they make me feel nostalgic. How did she smile? How did I make her cry? How kind was she, and impossibly stubborn I was. A girl in jogging outfit passes a well-tanned man with only surf shorts and a board under his arm. Breeze pushes up my shirt. My body relax. Why am I doing it?

We drove up the empty road before the tour buses started to fill it, checked out a few spots but inevitably, the time was up… After a quick munch in town and returning Focus to the car-rental next to the station, we were on board again, on the fast train. Leave nothing but footprints. After missing the wedding of my friend, I was off to Sydney to work from the office there for the week. So on the Sunday afternoon, I was already missing the vibe of Melbourne. Flying above the blanket of white stuff, suddenly I was already there. And all too soon, I was on the runway again…. It was going to be a busy month of March, with back-to-back trips, one to Puerto Rico and New York (as I already told you so far), and then back to Tokyo for a few days to re-pack my suitcase for another trip, down to Australia, to attend my friend’s wedding. It is an open-air stage, with a plaque indicating this has been dedicated to musicians of the city. Nice!
