The Life and Times of a Crafty Engineer. Back in the game. Okay, I'm back to crocheting and knitting! With over $500 worth of yarn stashed around my apartment, I better be doing something with it. A Case of the Runs
A Case of the Runs. Making fun of my run. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. I posted about my current lack of exercise and vowed to work out at least once a week. The good news is, I've been sticking to that goal fairly well and have been squeezing in 15-30 minutes in a couple of times a week, along with walking that I get in during the daytime at work. Is better than nothing. Posted by Julie D. Monday, April 20, 2015. I always thought this day was so, so distant. A day I labeled, "you know, when I'm old.". I was ...

Cooking with Garlic | Living Simply with Wholesome Food, Books and Bread
September 27, 2014 · 11:55 am. Artichoke Ricotta Cavitappi en Papillote. What’s in the bag? My first experiment cooking en papillote of course! This is so easy and delicious I’m shocked that I’ve never tried it before. I started with a recipe from one of my fitness magazines and completely changed it to suit my tastes. I also asked my chef friend if he had any suggestions and I incorporated those into my dish as well. Artichoke Ricotta Cavitappi en Papillote. 1/4 cup sundried tomatoes. 8211; but Mike and...
a case of wanderlove
Friday, July 18, 2014. Shedding my pho virginity. Do you remember that time when youve eaten something for the first time? The way your tongue curls around a foreign flavor, wondering how you lasted this long without tasting it. Wishing you can eat as much of it as you can, and then hoping you can replicate the dish at home. Or, it can also go the other way around: you regretting how you let yourself be coerced to eat that balut. Thats for you Westerners who visit my country! Forget that first bite.

A Case of Wanderlust | I just can't stay put!
A Case of Wanderlust. I just can't stay put! Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. June 18, 2014. If you walk into town, you might see this KTV place. I’ve never been to KTV, which is basically karaoke, but it doesn’t really appeal since I don’t know any of the songs. I think half the fun in the activity is botching up your favorite pop songs and having a laugh. Taiwan is still behind in the feminism category, I’m afraid. Sad signs abound here, I’m sorry to report. They also always wrap my ...
