My Allotments & Home Life: Been to busy to blog

http://www.allotmentmad.blogspot.com/2010/04/been-to-busy-to-blog.html

My Allotments and Home Life. Tuesday, 13 April 2010. Been to busy to blog. Sorry for being away from my blog, but i have so many projects on the go at the moment i just not found the time. This dry spell we are having means everyone wants things done, but i'm not complaining, its good to have plenty to do. I must confess the allotment has not have my undivided attention lately, although i have found time to plant a few rows of peas and carrots, so if we have nothing else to eat at least we have them!

My Allotments & Home Life: More walls

http://www.allotmentmad.blogspot.com/2011/01/more-walls.html

My Allotments and Home Life. Monday, 31 January 2011. I started a business as a gardener, but i am spending more time building walls then anything else at the moment. My main client at the moment wanted a 26 metre stone wall built, that has now become 50 metres, but i most confess i do like working with stone, the finish effect is so much better then any block or brick work. I have been asked for two quotes recently, one for another wall and one for a driveway. Maybe im destine to be a builder!

My Allotments & Home Life: Still growing

http://www.allotmentmad.blogspot.com/2010/07/still-growing.html

My Allotments and Home Life. Sunday, 11 July 2010. Its been a busy week as i have put up 3 large polytunnels, which one they want me to fill with potatoes for xmas, which will have to be planted in August. I am enjoying the allotments and garden, even though i have had such little time for them compared with the last few years. The main thing is to produce enough to be self suffient which i think we may still manage again, although we won't be giving away quite so much this year! View my complete profile.

My Allotments & Home Life: Allotment Awards

http://www.allotmentmad.blogspot.com/2010/09/allotment-awards.html

My Allotments and Home Life. Sunday, 26 September 2010. I decided to have another load of mushroom compost this year, as apart from the horse manure and my own compost, its the only goodness i put back into the ground. And of course i can't resist all those lovely mushrooms we will hopefully get again if the weather is right! I also bought a 1000 winter peas as last year they were such a success growing them over winter. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. My Work Web Site.

Student Nurses Allotment

http://studentnursesallotment.blogspot.com/2010/10/i-havent-updated-my-blog-for-so-long.html

Wednesday, 20 October 2010. I have been busy on my allotment. I brought a new shed. I brought a small metal one that I thought would be difficult to vandalise - it was up about 3 weeks before it was vandalised and someone used my cutters to cut into the side of it, I was not happy. I have grown lots of veg, some with more success than others. I will be blogging again before the end of the week. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Surrey, United Kingdom. http://studentnursesallotment.blogspot.com/2011/01/new-year.html

Saturday, 1 January 2011. My new years resolution is to keep up to date with this blog - only I dont want to call it a resolution as they dont normally last past the 2nd January do they. I am going to start this new year with something that I should have posted weeks ago and that is a picture of the beautiful homemade decoration I received from my swap partner, Averil, who writes the blog Art and Clasp. The swap was organised through another blog called New Zealand Handmade. Surrey, United Kingdom.

http://studentnursesallotment.blogspot.com/2008/04/it-is-nearly-year-since-i-last-posted.html

Friday, 4 April 2008. My allotment is doing fine but doesn't have much on it at the moment although. I did pick my first rhubarb last week. Part of the roof of my shed came off in the high winds a month ago. My allotment neighbour did a repair job on it but I think I am going to need a new shed shed before too much longer. Today is lovely so I am going to go there this afternoon as tomorrow I have heard it might snow! Looking at my blog for this time last year it was already. Surrey, United Kingdom.

Veg Bed Mamma | The ups and downs of vegetable growing,…. and life.

Oh me, oh my! May 23, 2016. Errm, what’s it been, 2 months? Life has been busy. So…. We drove to Spain, we drove back. I’ve done some gardening, my mother had a stroke, I did more gardening and haven’t had a single moment to rest! At least that’s our theory, and I’m sticking with it. It was a long old trip, but we had some fun. Laissez le bon temps roulez! Popped into a garden centre in France, and it was gorgeous! Naturally, I had to get some seeds, I also got a jar of flower pollen? And I’m sure ...

Allotment Man

Digging, weeding, planting, watering, feeding, and hopefully eating the fruits (and vegetables) of my labour on 120 square metres of London Borough of Richmond goodness. Sunday, 25 February 2007. Having spent the entire week feeling decidedly under the weather (swollen glands in neck, terribly sore throat, body aching from head to toe, and feeling constantly exhausted, no idea what that was but at least it's gone now), it was with some trepidation that I ventured onto the allotment today. Nope I don't li...

Allotment Mum — keeping my head above the compost heap

Keeping my head above the compost heap. Growing seeds – just like having babies, really. Once again there seems to have been an election sized gap between blog posts. Sorry about that. The good news is, the seeds I planted a few weeks ago are emerging from the soil like wispy blades of grass.
