Sunday, 25 September 2011. Ben Challum and Scottish Bouldering Championships - 19th Sept &24 th Sept. Went up to visit Mel and Ed in their new hoose in Kinlochleven, was good to be back up there, even if just for a night, forgotten how ace it is to have mountains on your doorstep! Mel and I were supposed to go for a hillwalk on the Saturday, but I brought up 2 bottles of Sauvignon and seen as I've not drank so much in around 5 years, I had a horrible hangover, bleurg! Going up this way is quite grassy/kn...

http://lasonj.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, 27 June 2010. Kirrie and Dunkeld - 23/24th June '10. And Ken reckoned she needed something a little more challenging. Not today though as he was off shortly and there was nobody else there who could put a rope up on something hard for her. She had been eyeing up a 6b however, that goes up a really sharp and defined arete and had decided that she was going to try and lead it, after Ken had mentioned that the arete was the hardest part of the route. Mel decided on The Chute, another VS 5a. You ...

Michael Lee, Climbing?: May 2014
http://michaellee-climbing.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 21 May 2014. A short note about votes. Instead of thinking of voting as a method of defining what the country is, think of it as a way of defining who you are. If you are old, you probably have defined yourself already. But, if you are young, there is a real opportunity to say something about yourself. I think that is more important than who runs the country anyway. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. More Than You'll Ever Know. The Legacy of Names: Craigmore Crag.

Michael Lee, Climbing?: February 2014
http://michaellee-climbing.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 18 February 2014. I gave up Climbing for a PhD. This was probably not a mistake because I don't remember most of the past four years on account of not writing important things down, and hence, no time seems to have past. The clock paused for four years, and, with this, is unpaused. Rewind is not an option, alas! Dumby 7B Challenge - climb them all in a day/lifetime/whatever. 1) Consolidated. Long like a route, low like a sit start. 2) BNI direct. including direct top out. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, 18 August 2010. After the EYS in Imst and finding out what it was like I was physed for Vienna. I was training since after Imst till the week before the Vienna comp and was feeling strong. What I picked up from Imst was I needed to warm up in plenty time and power through the moves. When I got to the wall the morning of the comp, The wall looked amazing, I really liked it. I was really phyced for the comp! I sat down on the chair and tied in, I was not that nervous. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The few days before the competition I was feeling strong and phyched for the comp, but the morning of the comp when I was warming up I was phyched but not feeling my strongest. I finished the competition in 5th position not too pleased with my self! Here is a fantastic video that Ruaridh Mackenzie put together! Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://stevieaddison.blogspot.com/2011/07/camel.html
Friday, 8 July 2011. As I have a new rope, Gri-Gri 2 and shoes I thought it would be a good idea to head out sport climbing, plus the weather was great. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Extreme Dream, Aviemore Indoor Climbing Wall. Awesome Inc. template. Powered by Blogger.

Monday, 18 July 2011. In between the rain showers I went up to the camel to get back on my project Ubunto 8A. I managed to link the whole main crux section today, and was feeling pretty strong on it, but some of the lower holds were still damp and slippy so could not link the whole route. Thursday, 14 July 2011. Guy on the 8A. Me attempting the 8A. Friday, 8 July 2011. As I have a new rope, Gri-Gri 2 and shoes I thought it would be a good idea to head out sport climbing, plus the weather was great.
