A Year in Japan. Museum Day in Izu. July 28, 2014. The next museum we visited on our day trip was the Fuji Bamboo Museum and Garden. The museum displays a huge array of bamboo crafts and goods. However, it also marks the departure of something JETs! The JET contract runs on a yearly basis so July and August is the time when those who have not recontracted leave their JET life. A Year in Japan. July 28, 2014. When I mentioned I was doing a ‘Nagomi Visit’, most people reacted with ‘a what visit? My Nagomi Visit host family was based in an apartment close to Yokohama Station. I met the daughter at the station, who had studied and lived in Australia, so spoke perfect English! July 25, 2012. I’ve been gone for 2 months. I’m so sorry that I haven’t been keeping my blog updated. The internet here isn’t too great and it takes a very long time to load anything… But here is a little update. We have been visiting different churches every week and I’m getting to meet a lot of people. Everyone is so friendly and loving :). So please pray that God leads us as we make the trip to Manaus.
