not my job: April 2011
http://notkellysjob.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A place for me to write about things that have nothing to do with my work. Mostly gardening. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. So, as I mentioned a couple of posts ago, I planted two raised beds with potatoes. If I remember right, I planted them two weeks ago - April 5th. So far, this is what has come up. That's one plant. ONE little plant, out of maybe 14 potato chunks planted, in two beds. So what do I do? Go buy some more potatoes to plant? Continue to wait and hope? A Tour, Part II: outside the fence. Here is...

http://through-the-garden-gate.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Through the Garden Gate. Life begins the day you start a garden - Chinese Proverb. Sunday, January 27, 2008. How exciting to begin 2008's garden in January. Long a dream, now a reality. On Friday, I found myself poking around at OSH to fill up some rare free time. I picked up several seed packets, three bags of compost and a six-pack of broccoli - Cape Queen F-1 Hybrid variety. It was the last one there and aside from a couple of yellowing leaves here and there the starts looked healthy. As I worked the ...

Through the Garden Gate. Life begins the day you start a garden - Chinese Proverb. Sunday, April 24, 2011. There was a wide variety of tomatoes to choose from however I was disappointed there were no descriptions of the many types I’d never heard of.
