Friday, February 23, 2007. Mittblocket till RR 2007. Som deltar i denna Round Robin. Mittblocket i min RR 2007. Häromdagen tittade jag på. Och tände till. Jag blev ...

Stack-n-Whack
http://www.sandymike.net/stack.html
I've been wanting to experiment with this technique, since I've heard how much fun it is. I finally decided to try making the hexagon star pattern; it was going to be a quilted table runner. However, I changed my mind and made two small quilts for my two best friends, instead. I gave them as Christmas gifts in 1999. AM Sewing: Snoring is my revenge
http://amsewing.blogspot.com/2009/08/snoring-is-my-revenge.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. Snoring is my revenge. Nightly there is a battle of the bed covers, which I invariably lose. Not so much a problem during the summer, but we haven't really had one this year. Last night, after the annual block party, we slept under this:. Stack-n-Whack, pattern by Bethany Reynolds. Half Log Cabin, technique by Sharyn Squier Craig. Beautifully quilted by Maggi Honeyman. Florida Cabin Fever Quilt Guild. The real solution was. But I was playing around with the pieced units before th...

Saturday, December 31, 2005. You saw the roux last night. Here's the pot on the stove simmering:. Several of you asked about my gumbo recipe. It's one of those things that I just do . . no recipe. If you can make a roux, you can make a gumbo. I found this at About.com that has good instructions for making a roux (it isn't hard but you can't burn it! Thursday, August 31, 2006. No doubt I'm not quite normal! I love to quilt! I love to piece, I love to quilt, I love to make feathers . . so why do I put off the things that need to be done? No, I went ahead and quilted the quilts for my great-nieces. I went ahead and bound them! Did I stop there and quilt Heat Wave? It took me twice as long, if not longer, to quilt Heat Wave because, even after it was loaded and I loved how it was turning out, I still procrastinated. I finished quilting it last night...
