Sent me some more of their natural stevia and monkfruit sweeteners to try out in recipes. First I made Isa's Marbled Banana Bread. This recipe is also found in Isa Does It. Next up, I used the Norbu to make pumpkin eggnog. 1 box silken tofu. 2 cups nondairy milk. 1 cup pumpkin puree. 1/2 cup Norbu sweetener. 1 Tbsp. vanilla. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Simple Red Lentil Stew. 1 1/2c. water. 1/2 GF veggie boullion cube. 1/2c dry red lentils. 1/2c yellow zucchini, chopped. 1 large carrot, chopped. 1/4c bell pepper, diced. 1/2c butternut squash, diced. 1/2c sweet potato, mashed. 1/8 tsp. each ginger, garlic powder, and cinnamon. Bring water and boullion cube to a boil and add all ingredients up to (and including) the bay leaf. Let the stew come back to a boil and reduce heat to medium. Add in remaining herbs and spices.

Cooking for my little family. Friday, April 1, 2016. Tony met me for lunch today at Dos Batos. It is just a taco place in a strip mall, but it smells fantastic thanks to their woodfired grill. We started with the chips sampler: queso, guacamole, and a salsa that is served warm. I had the Ostin, a veggie taco that includes mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Love seeing this face in the middle of the day (I mean Tony's, not the one on the wall. Just wanted to clear that up.). Love all these faces so much.
