http://cookinwithmarc.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
If you love something, share it with the world. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Sourdough - Part 2. My last attempt (yesterday) actually went quite well. I made a few changes/modifications to the recipe that I think contributed to my success. So, lets get started! First, lets revisit the firm starter. 1 Cup unbleached high-gluten or bread flour. 1/8 to 1/4 cup warm water. This time, instead of putting the starter in the fridge over night, I immediately went into the next step and made the final dough. Cut it...

The Bake House: March 2013
http://cookinwithmarc.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
If you love something, share it with the world. Saturday, March 16, 2013. Gluten Free All Purpose Bread. My inital idea was to see how it would turn out if I used a basic bread recipe, but replaced the A.P. flour for gluten free flours and some guar gum. As you can see, the dough started out fairly promising, it did rise about 50% which isn't too bad. 1 Teaspoon apple cider vinegar. 1/4 Cup oil Coconut Oil. 1 1/3 Cup milk – unsweetened (rice, hemp, almond) warmed to about 30-40C. 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt.

Cookin With Mama | Life in the Kitchen
Life in the Kitchen. April 7, 2011 / Shelley. Shrimp Pasta is today’s dish with tomatoes, spinach, garlic, onions and Buitoni’s fresh noodles. Delicious! This is my favorite way cook shrimp, but I love the Shrimp Po’Boys my daughter Shelley makes for me on Mother’s Day. This will feed 3-4 people. We divided it up into 3 which was more than enough. If you divide it into 4 you might want a bigger side salad. Clean a pound of shrimp. In a pot for your pasta, add about 1 tablespoon of sea salt. Have your oni...

COOK IN WITH MATT. To cheese or not to cheese, that is the question? Most traditional Pestos are made with garlic, basil, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and Parmesan or Romano cheese. SOUR CREAM MASHED POTATOES. Enjoy and Get Cookin! With a boneless turkey breast or turkey breast roast, there’s a much better yield and plenty of delicious white meat for everyone. With all the junk food (I mean, really GREAT food) served at Super Bowl parties, this year we thought we’d make something healthy and fun for the kids! Maxx decided to pick a recipe out of his new cookbook he received at the holidays (from moi) and blend and layer yummy fruit mixes into Popsicles! What can I say, we live in CA where it’s always warm.
Cookin' With Me
Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Our Favorite Stir Fry. The best thing about this recipe is you can use whatever vegetables you have on hand. I also love that there isn't a huge amount of sugar. If you like more sauce, then you'll need to double the ingredients starting with the broth and ending with cornstarch. My kids like a lot of sauce for the rice, so we usually double it. 2 Tablespoons oil. I always use coconut oil. 6 cloves of minced garlic. I always use the garlic from Costco in a jar. 1 cup chicken broth.

Hi You'll notice I haven't posted since Easter. Sorry. Believe me, I have been cooking since then. I have tried some new recipes too, but life has been hectic. Sitting down to blog has slipped way down on the "to do" list- so far down that it doesn't get done! I am continuing to do cake, cookie and cupcake decorating, and I am chewing on ways to put the photos of those things on some sort of online gallery. Once I figure out how I want to do it, I will let you all know how to get to it. My sister has bee...
