A writer's life and work in New England. Boston and New England. This is a bit late, but it was apropos yesterday. Have you ever heard the old English superstition that the first words you should say on the first day of every month are “Rabbit, rabbit”? Cranberry & Apricot - A lifestyle and travel blog

A lifestyle and travel blog. This post marks my last blog post of 2016! Cranberry and Apricot will be 1 at the start of January 2017 and I’ve successfully managed to blog every Sunday for the last 52 weeks. What a relief! I’m so pleased I started a series of monthly highlight posts at the start of 2016 as it’s easy to forget everything that happens each month and is a great way to reflect on the year overall. Here are a few things I got up to in December…. A visit to Edinburgh’s Christmas market. The Eur...

Cranberry and Eggplant

Or where did that inky smudge come from? Tuesday, 29 November 2016. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. A quick post for three cards. The challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. Is Glitter. We all love glitter. I've used the messy get everywhere kind. I've glued it onto an acetate circle, then glued it acetate side up so most of the glitter is trapped underneath. Some still seems to be escaping though. I'm not sure about this. Is it too plain? The next two are for CAS Colours and Sketches.
