Cranberry and Eggplant: January 2016
http://cranberryandeggplant.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
Or where did that inky smudge come from? Friday, 29 January 2016. I recently bought a new set of stamps. I had my eye on these Polka Doodles house stamps for Christmas cards. Then I remembered that a friend is moving soon so I had to get them now! I am rather sad as she is my best friend, moving to north Wales and I live in the south west. No more quick meetings for lunch or coffee. I may be wandering round the playground looking for new friends. Here is the card I made:. But I was tired of stamping it.
Cranberry and Eggplant: February 2016

Or where did that inky smudge come from? Saturday, 27 February 2016. I am so fed up with broken heating, condensation and assosiated problems, and drainage issues that today I shut myself away with a fan heater and frequent cups of coffed to try and forget about it all for a while. Here is a card I made:. The current challenge at Merry Monday. After several false starts I finally had someting to show. Not one for posting though. The stamps are all from a set I received with Creative Stamper magazine.
Cranberry and Eggplant: Silver butterfly

Or where did that inky smudge come from? Sunday, 13 November 2016. At last a change from Christmas cards. I made this background by stamping and embossing a large stamp using clear powder. Then I sponged on the ink, blending the colours together. I spritzed water over it and left it to dry. Once dry I ironed the card between copier paper. This melts off the embossing powder and leaves the pattern. I tried to take a photo of it but it's difficult to take something which isn't there! For a run around.
Cranberry and Eggplant: August 2016

Or where did that inky smudge come from? Friday, 26 August 2016. Anything I have made recently has found its way to the bin, this one narrowly missed. I have used a Stamplorations stamp set Retro Mod Shapes to make these Christmas gifts. It's a great set with many shapes to mix and match. This is using a square and a leaf shape. I added a little bit of sparkle to the stars. I'm linking this to. 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. Where the theme is Gifts. And August Rudolf Days. Thursday, 4 August 2016. I made ...
Cranberry and Eggplant: Shades of blue

Or where did that inky smudge come from? Wednesday, 23 November 2016. This would have been quick and easy if I hadn't stamped the circle three times! I've used my favourite daisy die which I've done many times in pink, white and purple but never blue. I've tried to arrange the cords so they don't make shadows, with some success. I've die cut the flowers into the base card so the first layer is inlaid. Stamps - JustRite Lillies and Butterflies. Dies - LeaneCreatif Multiflower 9 and Tonic circles. Love thi...

Cranberry & Apricot - A lifestyle and travel blog
A lifestyle and travel blog. This post marks my last blog post of 2016! Cranberry and Apricot will be 1 at the start of January 2017 and I’ve successfully managed to blog every Sunday for the last 52 weeks. What a relief! I’m so pleased I started a series of monthly highlight posts at the start of 2016 as it’s easy to forget everything that happens each month and is a great way to reflect on the year overall. Here are a few things I got up to in December…. A visit to Edinburgh’s Christmas market. The Eur...

A Little About Us. The yearning to know what cannot be known, to comprehend the incomprehensible, to touch and taste the unapproachable, arises from the image of God in the nature of man. Deep calleth unto deep, and though polluted and landlocked by the mighty disaster theologians call the Fall, the soul senses its origin and longs to return to its source. A.W. Tozer. Cranberry and Eggplant
Or where did that inky smudge come from? Tuesday, 29 November 2016. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. A quick post for three cards. The challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. Is Glitter. We all love glitter. I've used the messy get everywhere kind. I've glued it onto an acetate circle, then glued it acetate side up so most of the glitter is trapped underneath. Some still seems to be escaping though. I'm not sure about this. Is it too plain? The next two are for CAS Colours and Sketches.
