Sunday, October 31, 2010. We had some fun at our household, despite 3 of the 4 of us being sick! Finished family pumpkin (Halloween morning! Harper loved pulling the pumpkin guts out. And playing with them in the bowl! I'm glad we don't have a squeamish girlie girl. Harper at the BP Building before Trick or Treating. Harper and Ruby (sleeping) in costume. Monday, August 2, 2010. Another Ice Cream tale. Dan's family friends (the Fitts') were in town over the weekend, so we took them south to Girdwood to see the top of Alyeska and, more importantly, to have some ice cream at my favorite ice cream shop. Except, I was pretty sure Dan ordered. Ice cream.hmmm. Espresso ice cream and a 21 month old toddler.near bed time.is that really a good idea? I asked across the ice cream parlor in amazement "Did you just give her. Oh, I love a toddler that tells the truth!

Saturday, April 24, 2010. We sure hope so! The weather has been teasing us lately but this weekend we've had some good weather. It was warm and sunny enough to take Harper to the playground - she had a blast on the slides. This was the photo Dan got off just before Harper flew off the end of the slide, face planted and lost both of her boots. She actually laughed! Monday, June 28, 2010. Biggest Wildlife Day Ever. Then Dan saw another black bear just half a mile down the road from the first, walking along a paved pathway. We got through the tunnel, met up with our friends and got the boat into the water. We watched him for a bit and then we came upon a raft of sea otters.too many to count! We stopped in Shotgun Cove for dinner and watched a bald eagle fly around while the fish jumped around us. I love this place! Lone goose on a rock in the rain at Three Finger Cove.
