And Can It Be?

http://daveandbeckycavanaugh.blogspot.com/2008/07/we-arrived-in-bangkok-just-before.html

And Can It Be? Friday, July 25, 2008. We were blessed to have two couples from our church in Circleville that came to the meeting to help with childcare and other logistics. Not only were they an immense help in serving our multitude of personnel, but they were a joy to get to spend time with. They worked really hard the entire time they were at the meeting, but they did. Make time for some other pursuits! I understand your new journey and circumstances and will adjust my notes accordingly. We also f...

And Can It Be?: ESL class & Worshiping with believers in another country

http://daveandbeckycavanaugh.blogspot.com/2008/09/esl-class-worshiping-with-believers-in.html

And Can It Be? Friday, September 5, 2008. ESL class and Worshiping with believers in another country. The man in the foreground comes from a family of believers. The other man, who is a very bright computer tech, came to faith from a Buddhist background. This young man is a classical guitarist- a very gifted musician. He has played before huge audiences, including government officials. He gave us a free 'mini' concert. Thank you Dave and Pam for making this a special experience for the students.

Without God's power, the Bauer's have no power!: May 2011

http://withoutgodspowerthebauershavenopower.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Justin at 7.5 months. His first pontoon boat ride. Austin at 1 year. When dandelion seeds are still cute. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Mother's Day, plus a few extras. I am way behind, but what else is new these days? Mother's Day started out at church w/the kids singing a song, in front of the church, to the parents. After church, we went home for lunch. Later, we decided it was such a beautiful day (it was suppose to rain) that we would take the kids to the park. They all 3 love to swing. Links to this post.

Karen proceeded to read the kids Green Eggs and Ham, a book on Saint Patrick, and show them slide pictures of Ireland. She also helped them make shamrocks. Jonathan and I had a meeting at church, so Karen offered to watch all of my kids and hers at the church. Long fun day! When I get through taxes and redoing...

This was the day Selah was born. Loved this pic of a double rainbow a few weeks back. This was 2 days after Selah was born. Lily went looking for me in the house and here is where she ended up.in the dining room bay window. This was the cherub choir singing at church. This pic cracks me up. Links to this post.

View from very close up. Notice I ran out of black fondant on one of the black pops. I think if I had taken a pic from the roof top it would have looked more like a soccer ball. Justin at 7.5 months. His first pontoon boat ride. Austin at 1 year. When dandelion seeds are still cute. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. My newest-old favorite piece of furniture. I have wanted to build (I mean, have built) a bench seat w/storage under our dining room bay window ever since we moved in 3 years ago. For extra seating because we never seem to have enough w/guests over. And more storage of course! I mean, really, who truly ever has enough of it? Now I have a new problem. My current oak table...

Mission Possible

Monday, August 15, 2011. Who are the people in your neighborhood? Today started out like any other day on our mission in Moscow. We woke up on our normal schedule, which means, I woke up a couple of hours earlier than Becky. When Becky awoke we prayed in Russian and studied the Book of Mormon, then showered, shaved, ate breakfast (or at least I did) and brushed our teeth. We dressed and headed for the door. No, we just calmly passed the man with the handgun. We noticed as we passed him he had opened ...
