My journey to reveal the girl I always knew I was… but the world struggled to see. So, I’m a little late…. Good Morning Y’all! I am a little past late trying to get my month two stats posted… but it has been a busy, busy weekend! We finally got back to the room and they were dead out! My husband is never in a hurry to get home… so we stop at every nook and cranny you can come to! Starting weight May 5, 2015: 300. May 18, 2015: 270 (-30). Month ONE June 5, 2015: 260 (-40). I have the BEST husband EVER!

January 1, 2017. Post Op Day 277. So Yep. January 1. The day to set the goals and make the resolutions and start fresh. Funny that this year I’ve really got nothing. Thursday August 17th 2006, a day that will hopefully have changed my life for the better. I have had a gastric band fitted and a painful 7 year old umbilical hernia fixed.My father was diagnosed with terminal cancer of the oesophagus also in the same week in August 2006,the most painful cancer there is apparently and was given only a few months to live. There was recently a Horizon Programme on dieting (with Dr Michael Mosley - love him) in which he explored various versions of diets incorporating fasting or calorie restrictions. The one that he found most workable was the 5-2 diet, where you restrict your calorie intake for 2 days, but then eat normally on the other 5.
