North East Birder Ramlings: March 2013
http://andrewkinghorn.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 23 March 2013. As winter draws to a close over the next few days (bird wise, not weather! It is time to say goodbye to the Caspian Gulls. See you next year friends! Caspian Gull standing proud! Now for the official Caspian Gull. Song, based on changed lyrics from a well known and very corny 80's song:. Looking in your dark eyes I see a paradise. This world that I found is too good to be true. Standing here beside you. Want so much to give you. This love in my heart that I'm feeling for you.

Thursday, 29 November 2012. You may get a Christmas message though! Until whenever, Foghorn out! Monday, 26 November 2012. Sorry its been a while since my last post but I have been really busy with university work and had other things on, then trying to juggle all this with birding can prove to be a problem for the blog! But it would appear the blog is still popular so I will be keeping it on for the foreseeable future. I set off scanning the flocks on deck while I assigned ' The Sleeper. Which were cool...

North East Birder Ramlings: February 2013
http://andrewkinghorn.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 27 February 2013. Been very busy with university with impending deadlines, but I have to have some form of free time and so I have decided to dedicate some of this to catching up on my blogging! Since my last post I've been out gulling (as expected) but had nothing out of the ordinary, except a Glaucous Gull. Which spent around 5 hours on Seaton Common, during its stay the bird must have walked approaching 20 mile around the common. Quite entertaining. And a second Golden Eagle. Glaucous Gull ...

Thursday, 5 February 2015. Anyone know any more on this? Even on the pontoon it preferred the Redshanks, totally avoiding the Herring Gulls. Had a dodge to Nosterfield NR on the way home, highlight being the distant drake American Wigeon and a Brent Goose. Last time I visited I was gulling, saw this beauty. Gotta love a juv Casp! Wednesday, 4 February 2015. On Saturday I headed out north west in order to see the Ridgway's Canada Goose. All pics of Golden Eagle by Harry Murphy. I'd never had views like it...
