A colleague, Mark Watson, took this shot recently after a heavy thunderstorm on Cochiti Mesa. The water is draining off of the heavily burned Valles Caldera National Preserve. Cochiti Mesa and Cochiti Canyon are not part of the Valles Caldera NP – erosion after a fire has some far-reaching effects. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.
