Monday, October 17, 2011. Here's a nice vegetarian chili, whether your family goes meatless all the time or just wants to try something new. I stole it from a friend's blog (katewangsgard.blogspot.com) and she has lots of other vegetarian recipes you can check out. You can also check there for a picture :). 2 t olive oil. 1 medium onion, chopped. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add onions and saute until tender. 1 green pepper, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 t cayenne pepper. 1 c frozen corn.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Chocolate Lovers' Mint Brownies. I begged and begged my neighbor for this recipe. They are the most delicious mint brownies I've ever tasted. I should have taken a picture after I made them, but I took a bunch of them visiting teaching, and when I came home, they were all gone! 1 cup butter, softened. 4 eggs (room temperature, if you have time). 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and slightly cooled. 2 1/2 cups flour. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. 2 tablespoons evaporated milk.

We ate this on Mother's Day/Mom and Dad's 41st Anniversary. 1/2 lb. swiss, grated. 1/2 package bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced. 1 T poppy seeds. 1/2 C balsamic vinegar. 1 T minced dry onion. 1/2 t dry mustard. I think my sisters got it when they were students at BYU. 2 c sugar (I use brown sugar, or at least half white and half brown). 2 c flour (you can use up to 1/2 c whole wheat flour). 2 t baking powder. 1 c chopped walnuts. 3 c grated carrots. 1 - 8 oz pkg cream cheese. 1 - 1 lb box confectioners sugar (4 3/4 c). Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Corn Pudding: Addy's Cookbook. Fill baking pan with an inch of water and set in oven. Preheat to 325. Beat eggs with whisk until bubbly. Stir corn into eggs, sprinkle on flour, salt, and pepper, mix in. Melt butter. Add with milk and cream to corn mixture. Stir. Add to dish. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until inserted knife comes out clean. Was a cornmeal cake cooked hard. Scratchbacks. Were cornmeal batter dropped into a buttered tin, came out with scratchy tops.

Friday, August 7, 2009. Besan Ladoo: Microwave recipe. This is a very quick way to make the famous and tasty besan ka Ladoo. Makes about 8-10 medium sized ladoos. Besan or Gram Flour : 1 cup. Unsalted butter or ghee: one stick or one cup when melted. Sugar half a cup. Almonds , Pistachios for garnishing (optional). In a Microwave safe vessel(I prefer glass containers) melt all the butter or ghee for about 30 seconds. Add the besan or gram flour to the butter and stir well to coat all the besan with butter.
