Thursday, 21 February 2008. I won’t get to excited yet and will try and go to the cafe later today to see if there is anything else in the area. I doubt there will be anything 10 mins walk from the flat though! I got off the wrong bus stop which was a good lesson on carrying my bag – something I’d get very used to over the next day or so. I met Marianne and we went and got some food straight away, followed by a bit of time to just relax. Monday, 11 February 2008. Road through the hills of Derbyshire.

The greatest part of the day was definitely the atmosphere. The Norwegians love to cheer apparently, for anyone who is winning, shooting, taking part or losing! May 21, 2015. Recently, I’ve been catching up on some of last year’s films that I wanted to see. Along the way, I decided to seek out Michael R. Roskam’s The Drop. Not only because it looked like an intriguing crime drama, but also because it contained the last role of the great James Gandolfini (God rest his soul). Aside from that, The Drop. Is definitely worth seeing if you’re into this sort of thing. It isn’t easy to come across a solid mob flick nowadays, but I think this is one of the good ones.
