English 211 Blog: September 2006
http://english211blog.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Before I begin - I am going to tone myself down a little bit so I don't step on anyone's toes, but I am a truly satirical person and I love to take stabs at anything with a monopoly. Hence, religion is one of my favorite targets (in a loving way) but all I mean to say is to PLEASE take everything I say about the Bible with a Pillar of salt. Alright, I am slightly behind but not irreparably, I suppose. But then again, maybe the Ark left and I wasn't on it.

English 211 Blog: November 2006
http://english211blog.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Haha back again (notice the same night. my car broke down and I can't leave for Thanksgiving. Fate decided against it. ). As if the archetypes we see and even act out today originate there? Personally. I think the bible is just an excellent portrayal and example of those truly timeless personalities and voices that we carry. (*The word I've heard to describe them is "surpapersonal" . but if I do that I'll just sound like I'm going over my head, eh? Posted by MB at 9:58 PM.

Biblical Foundations: December 2006
http://amym211.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 08, 2006. Theodicy has always been something I've been interested in, long before I knew it had a name. Raised in a Christian church, I've always had questions about the bad things that claim so many lives. Especially natural disasters or the horrible poverty in places like. And obviously not everyone who died in an earthquake or was starving in poverty was wicked and evil. I would ask why God would let such horrible things happen and nobody could answer to my satisfaction. When the spea...

Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Three more groups enlightened with us on their depictions of different books of the Bible. Once again, I was extremely entertained! Group number FOUR kick started the day with their skit on the story of Ruth through the eyes of Jewish store owners.Joshua was the best looking Jewish girl ever! For a while and all of the things that possibly come out of that situation. The groups also shared some terrific artwork to the music of the Newsboys. Posted by Kimberly @ 8:53 PM. I have...

Http:/ biblicalfoundations.blogspot.com" Justin Burgard. 211 Blogging of the Bible. A literary approach to the Bible for Dr. Sexton's 211 class. Thursday, August 31, 2006. A tradition of seconds? It is difficult to locate in Western literature and history a more charismatic figure than David."- Harold Bloom, The Book of J (pg 41). Interestingly, throughout the book of Genesis, the theme of the second-born being preferred to the first-born crops up again and again. Cain kills his younger brother; why?

Mythologies: Now I am a Myth Sleuth: Mythic "Memory"
http://ahedegaard.blogspot.com/2006/03/mythic-memory.html
Mythologies: Now I am a Myth Sleuth. Friday, March 17, 2006. It really isn't so much of a memory for me, since the whole scene comes straight out of one of my family's home videos. But of the home videos I have been made a witness to, this one sticks out like a sore thumb. Or maybe, a sore head. Dad gave the "ready, set, go! I saw myself crawl with fury, not afraid to climb over Brock in the process and win the race to the clock. I signified my victory by knockin the thing down. I was the winner!

Mythologies: Now I am a Myth Sleuth: See Something...
http://ahedegaard.blogspot.com/2006/04/see-something.html
Mythologies: Now I am a Myth Sleuth. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Yesterday afternoon, I saw something mythic. The boarder in the lead crossed the street and reached the edge of the handicap accessible slope of the sidewalk. However, when he reached here, the wheels on his board must have hit the sidewalk a little rough. The boarder fell forward onto the sidewalk. The board rolled back into the street to get run over by a mid-sized sedan. Posted by Aaron Hedegaard @ 7:10 PM. Comments: Post a Comment.
