Albeit with a small sample, this study suggests that authentic blogs are effective tools for engaging undergraduates in reflection. It suggests that, despite misgivings about the lack of structure and scaffolding, lecturers can encourage their students to engage in authentic blogging as a means of developing reflection. Musings on the future of compulsory education - I. We've often heard that we can't predict what the future will be like in 5 years, let alone 20. Now, this is pretty scary. Because if we don't know what it is coming, how do we plan for it? Or do we even bother to plan for it? Should we just wait and adapt to whatever comes our way? Shall we just accept that whatever comes our way is our destiny and we just have to suck it up, accept it and wait for the next change . and then we do it all over again.
