Saturday, February 19, 2011. Its been a bit of time since I've updated my blog, life has been fairly mellow with not much to report on. We've gotten into a life routine here in Banaras so we're not doing anything extra special or especially amazing, even though what we are doing is pretty special and amazing! Usually end up in linguini vongole, but dinner on Ash Wednesday needed something less routine. 2 cups arborrio rice. 1 red onion, diced. 15 cups Christopher Sauce. 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined. Fresh parley, roughly chopped. 1 In a very hot pan, sear both sides of the shrimp in olive oil. Remove before they are fully cooked. 4 When the arborrio rice is nearly finished, add the Christopher Sauce.
