The Other Side of the World: March 2015
http://www.servinginthephilippines.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
The Other Side of the World. Monday, March 16, 2015. We all laughed, but it's a true principle and I've applied it to myself by asking, "Can I give my all for 3 minutes? Can I be consecrated and sanctified for 3 minutes? I am striving each day to answer "YES! With all the heart, might, mind and strength that I posses. It isn't easy, but if I do my best, Heavenly Father will make these 3 short minutes worth it. Well, what did I do with my 57,600 seconds x 7 days? We are seeing miracles here because of it!

The Other Side of the World. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Well, I'm still in the mission! I'm so relieved that I get to finish off my last 8 weeks. Sorry to any of you who were secretly hoping I would be sent home (best friends, younger siblings) , but I'm here to stay and finish what I started! Well, Love you all! Have a good week! Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The MRC was a really great break and I'm glad I got to breathe a little before coming back out. Here is some of the stuff I was up to there. I went to ...

The Other Side of the World. Monday, May 18, 2015. One of the best weeks I have had! This week was one of the best weeks I've had since I started my mission! I really mean it! It felt like miracles were just falling out of heaven and into our laps! We saw some really great success and it made me so excited to be a missionary that I even thought several times about extending. If mom and dad weren't going to pick me up, I think I would! So here's what happened! I love teaching them. I'm excited for her!
The Other Side of the World: July 2014
http://www.servinginthephilippines.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
The Other Side of the World. Thursday, July 31, 2014. The spider was as big as my fist and pretty reluctant to die. As you can expect, I was the only one who dared get close enough to measure his size with my hand. :). The tree and post are more damage photos from last weeks typhoon. The woman in yellow was Sister Peter's fellow-shipper and a really good friend of ours. The woman in white standing with me and Sis. Maagad is Sister Peters, our old investigator who was baptized. Well, another busy week!

Serving in the Sand
Serving in the Sand. Keeping in touch far from home. Saturday, January 3, 2009. Dont Just Wish For a Happy New Year. Last year was good to me, but there was an unnecessary overabundance of ill will. The political realities of a contested election that is some areas also incorporated religious distinctions made the incivility much worse. The economic realities that will be in this year will add to the stresses that are on all of us, some more oppressively than others. Links to this post. Links to this post.

Sunday, August 5, 2012. Well, it's been a splendid week! We also started teaching a new investigator named Daniel. He is a young college student from Columbia (there are so many hispanic cultures here in Gilbert-not just Mexican). He's super awesome! He came to church last week and really felt the Spirit and is super sincere. And he already has great faith in Christ. When we met him he said "So you can help me know more about your church? Blessings, blessings, blessings! Love, Hermana Anneli Hansen.

Jambo Mzungus!
Wednesday, July 21, 2010. If you've been following us on our trip, thank you so much. In our final week and a half, we still have two overnight trips, a decent amount of teaching, a trip north to witness ministry up there, a sports gala, a final service to lead and then our departure. So the youth workers here are getting every last drop out of us, haha. But we're glad they are. We've loved doing the ministry we've been able to do while being here. Thanks for all your prayers and we'll meet again soon!
