The Edible Garden: February 2013

http://theediblegarden.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Creating a productive vegetable garden in a small space. Sunday, 3 February 2013. Homegrown begins another year. Inspired by today's Seedy Sunday event at the Brighton Corn Exchange and James Wong's talk on the Home-grown Revolution, I'm determined to grow something more than slugs this year! It's reassuring to hear that everyone else was having a tough time last year too and many were growing far more than I was in my little patch. How Seedy Sundays grew into a phenomenon. Tomatoes also settling in nicely - ranging in size from beef to cherry. And finally, the square bed with courgettes and mangetout plus netting and prunings from the rose to deter cats. The Edible Garden: April 2012

http://theediblegarden.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Creating a productive vegetable garden in a small space. Friday, 6 April 2012. It's finally getting ready to harvest and my most successful cropping so far. I think my previous attempt didn't even produce this much. Only a few plants in a small space but something useful to grow over the winter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The Edible Garden: June 2011

http://theediblegarden.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Creating a productive vegetable garden in a small space. Monday, 27 June 2011. Planted up a couple of rows of mangetout in the new raised bed. They'll be more easily accessible and don't grow as tall as the runner beans, so may be easier to reach and harvest - as and when they get going - if the slugs and pigeons don't get them first! Sunday, 19 June 2011. A New Raised Bed. Chilli peppers are planted up in the pots to the left. Friday, 10 June 2011. Planting Upward and Onwards. Tomato plants - two Money ...

Regenerative Agriculture in Wherrol Flat. Skip to primary content. Welcome to The Edible Forest, Annette Owen-Mulder and Les Mulder’s organic farm at Wherrol Flat. In permaculture, the edible forest is a low maintenance and highly productive polyculture. It overproduces compared to monocultures and contains many different ecological niches, which are all occupied by useful species. We have run a number of field days, in conjunction with Manning Landcare, around Keyline concepts and permaculture design.

Alex Mitchell: the Edible Gardener

Alex Mitchell: the Edible Gardener. Bitter late than never. So I said I would post a photo of my home forced chicory after a month. Mmm, this is slightly embarrassing. That was almost three months ago and let’s just say I’m not buying the pear, stilton and walnuts quite yet. Sheesh, these are some slow chicons. Also they look rather brown in places, which I am trying to ignore. This entry was posted in Growing stuff. January 13, 2015. Le freak, c’est chicon. Watch this space…. October 21, 2014.
