Tuesday, March 1, 2011. From: Getting to Know Your Group. This was my introduction to my group on day 2. 1 The obvious stuff, where you live, what you do, etc. also what would you like us to call you? I'm from Tokyo by way of NY, Rhode Island, Texas, Kobe. People have the impression that I am very outgoing, probably from the years that I worked in communications, but I'm actually very shy. I am married to Arnaud. 2 What has tripped up your wellness goals in the past? I quit smoking 10 years ago and at th...

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I love my family, I love my friends! I love the PCP! It's been a while. A very long while, and a lot's happened in the meantime. I feel like so much of my life was already in a state of flux- first, with the PCP, my body started to change bit by bit, my habits along with it. Then my grandfather's health has been something I've had to learn to accept and to experience on a day to day basis- one day up, one day down, and not knowing what the next day will bring. I will miss all o...

Peak Condition Project - Akiko: February 2011

http://thepeakconditionproject-akiko.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 27, 2011. Pictures taken, blog set up. Now all I have to do is start! I'm looking at the PCP as a challenge to start something and to stick with it. To do something. To realise something. I'm an ideas person, so I love the process of creating something, but my enthusiasm for execution usually peters out. It's only a third of the time, after all! Looking forward to meeting everyone in the group tomorrow. 写真も撮り、ブログの設定も済んだので、あとはスタートするだけ。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Peak Condition Projec...

http://thepeakconditionproject-akiko.blogspot.com/2011/03/blog-banner.html

Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Day 2 - Blog Banner. Comments on today's workout:. Doing this inside for now, but should take it outside. Doing 5 reps for now. I should try going lower. Okay, back to the title. When it comes to choosing an inspiration, it was important to me that I chose a person I could respect- not just admire their body. Patrick’s choice of Bruce Lee, in this sense made a lot of sense. So I had a hard time choosing someone / an image. The first that came to mind were dance related:. This is a...

Saturday, April 17, 2010. Day 93 - The Good, the bad, and the hungry. It's been 3 days since my Peak journey concluded, and I've been trying to wrap my head around it all. What a crazy trip this has been. I think the best way for me to summarize the past 90 days is by simply breaking it down. I figure I want to end on a positive note so I'll start with. In the end I came to love yogurt! I go through about a 1/2 gallon of skim milk a day. I absolutely love, love, love milk! I have seen the light. Not only...

Monday, November 9, 2009. Thing is, isn't like every treat in aisle 5 the same thing? Some fat, some sugar, some flavor. Why do people get grossed out at berries covered in crisco but chow down a Little Debbie cupcake? I say good luck to everyone else, this was fun, keep at it and enjoy life. Patrick, sorry about the delay, last week was.eventful. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. It's a hardboiled egg, a green onion and some ham, all chopped up together. What? How is that to go? Is this really my day 89 post?

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Well, we're 13 days past the 1 year anniversary of me starting the Peak Condition Project. My life would be so much different now without it. Although I have to say, life can really get in the way of the road to peak condition, and a felled tree of that size can be a mighty pain to move. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. It took me a while to write this post. I had so much to write, and mind was full of thoughts and was feeling nostalgic about my last 90 days. I am entering to new phase of living with all good habits and determination to stay healthy forever and not to look back. The Peak Condition Project - Naoko

Sunday, August 29, 2010. Workout @ Patrick's studio. I didn't know about Day 90 workout menu. I didn't receive the email before I leave home so I know nothing about it. Ah how far I came in 90 days! How much strength I gain! Looking back the first week, I was so out of breath by jumping just 300 or so. I got sore muscles from only 4 sets of squats. I would like to thank my friend Yukiko for recommending this program to me in May. If I didn't start in June, I wasn't here now. My old pants are too big now.

Friday, January 1, 2010. Some final day photos of me on a beach in Kerala. Actually these photos were taken on my birthday on 17th December. What an amazing holiday it was and made all the better for knowing I was in peak health! Being in India it's always best for women to respect the local custom and dress modestly, even on the beach, hence the lack on bikini here, so sorry, no abs shots! A very cool moment! Tuesday, December 22, 2009. The final few days of the PCP were on the whole more challenging th...
