One of the Robin triplets fledged the night before (when I scared him walking out the front door), but these guys waited last night or this morning to leave the nest. They are such quick learners! These guys made a home in the Boston ferns I hung on the porch this year. It made a very safe and happy home for them, not such a happy situation for the fern. June 10, 2010. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Day at the Fair. This year we went to the fair and had a wonderful time as a family. missing most of the crowd since we went early. My wonderful husband. he doesn't like to ride the rides so he held everyones stuff while they rode. Stepheny rode several of the little kids rides with Jyll Jonnee. The Weaver's Studio. July 8, 2015. June 29, 2015. Tonight I cut off of my loom what has been, without a stitch of embellishment, the finest piece of weaving I have ever done. The sett was perfect. The hand, indescribable. The structure, subtle enough to be present but not overwhelming. And after 12 inches of weaving, I cut it off. All 500 odd ends of yarn, 3 yards long, painstakingly wound and measured, threaded and tensioned. Gone, in the blink of a satisfied scissor’s snip. You have your house keys....
