Some of the insects in Arizona are bold with color but extremely dangerous. Insects warn other animals to use caution when near by having vibrate red/yellow colors. When birdwatching you will see tons of insects of all variety! Wasp, looks very similar to velvet ant? Bee hive , cliff at Coon Bluff. This hive has been active for years. Desert Tarantula ( Aphonopelma chalcodes). Large hairy spider often seen crossing the road. Dangerous spider, scragly web, near structures. Very fast, very powerful jaws.
