A low GI diet has helped me maintain a reasonable blood glucose level. HbA1c was 7.9 and in the past six months has been 6.8. I’m about to challenge low GI eating again as it appears that I am a coeliac (diagnosis to be confirmed) which will cut out many of the healthy carbohydrates that I currently enjoy.
