The Retreat in Progress. Sunday, October 19, 2014. It's been a while since I took out my camera and snapped a few photos of what has been going on at Rebecca's Retreat. I was inspired this morning while I was sitting on the deck drinking my coffee while cardinals and other flying friends were singing and enjoying the cool weather. What a nice place to sit and read a book by the Peggy Martin rose bush. The garden angel will look over you and make sure you don't sleep too long in that comfortable spot.

Dig, Grow, Eat
Dig, Grow, Eat. Tales from the allotment. Tuesday, 1 June 2010. Where did May go? In an effort to get things growing on the new plot we decided that for this year the best plan of action would be to cover the whole plot in black weed-stop material else by the time we had rigorously weeded and removed all the stones, glass and other debris it would most likely be Christmas!
