She had another doctor's appointment yesterday (Monday) and received another dose of chemo. She feels pretty good and is doing great. She has loved all the calls and visits from family and friends. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I ran in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure the weekend before last (June 12) here in Plano, TX. It was a 5k, so it wasn't too bad. To the left is me and Josh Williams, a good friend and coworker. Josh and I went to Southeastern together. He's running for his mom, and we're both running for Katrina Owens. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Saturday, January 31, 2009. A much needed update. How quickly our days, weeks, and months fill. Jarrett finished up football. They made the playoffs! David's grandfather passed away on Thanksgiving day. Jarrett still misses him and talks about him consistently. We visited the USS Midway museum for a school field trip this week, and he said, "I wish great-grandpa could come back for just one day to see this.". What a glorious time of year!
