Sunday, July 17, 2011. Well, it's official.I'm old. I've come to this conclusion based on two facts. #1 - I'm turning 30 in a couple months, yikes! 2 - I am now the proud owner of a minivan. Our previous car was really on it's last leg, and was in need of repairs, so we had to start looking for our next vehicle. Here’s the story: Sweet Amanda found one of our pass-along cards two weeks ago. We started emailing back and forth and we KNEW by day 2 that we already loved her! Jessalyn (the beauty queen between Jenn and me in the picture below) is such an awesome girl. She is a birthmom who knows firsthand the incredible blessings of adoption. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I ran in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure the weekend before last (June 12) here in Plano, TX. It was a 5k, so it wasn't too bad. To the left is me and Josh Williams, a good friend and coworker. Josh and I went to Southeastern together. He's running for his mom, and we're both running for Katrina Owens. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Saturday, January 31, 2009. A much needed update. How quickly our days, weeks, and months fill. Jarrett finished up football. They made the playoffs! David's grandfather passed away on Thanksgiving day. Jarrett still misses him and talks about him consistently. Monday, October 27, 2008. The yard is done! Newborn broke his foot in 4 places we found out today. We still have to see an orthopedic dr.
