Being a stay at home mom is a great blessing and I love being able to spend all this time with my baby. It has been fun watching Dean grow and develop every day. The CK Smith Clan. Friday, March 11, 2011. Time is getting closer to when our baby is due to arrive. 2 weeks and 2 days left. I have been on maternity leave for 2 weeks now and it's been really nice having this time to get the house and Baby Dean's room ready for his arrival. His room is all set up and decorated. I have yet to get overly bored on maternity leave.but it's still early on :). Our baby is completely spoiled already :) We are excited about his arrival. 37 weeks and ready to pop :).

The CK Smith Clan. Monday, January 17, 2011. New stuff in a new year. Cody is working full time still and finishing up paramedic school. Hopefully if all goes well then he will be working as a paramedic starting in August, which would be nice because it's a pay raise for him and if needs be I can go down to part time work by then and stay home with the baby more so we don't have to pay for a babysitter. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I ran in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure the weekend before last (June 12) here in Plano, TX. It was a 5k, so it wasn't too bad. To the left is me and Josh Williams, a good friend and coworker. Josh and I went to Southeastern together. He's running for his mom, and we're both running for Katrina Owens. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Saturday, January 31, 2009. A much needed update. How quickly our days, weeks, and months fill. Jarrett finished up football. They made the playoffs! David's grandfather passed away on Thanksgiving day. Jarrett still misses him and talks about him consistently. We visited the USS Midway museum for a school field trip this week, and he said, "I wish great-grandpa could come back for just one day to see this.". What a glorious time of year! Monday, October 27, 2008. The yard is done! Newborn broke his foot in 4 places we found out today. We still have to see an orthopedic dr. The boys were rough housing and all I can get out of them is that they "bonked" into each other. He'll probably just have a walking cast. He's OK. My boys were so amazed by this "real" witch. .
