Strange and Benevolent: February 2012
http://strangebenevolent.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Chronicling Sarah, Tyler, Stella and Otto's Ongoing Adventures. Friday, February 17, 2012. It has not been an easy start to 2012. I feel I owe a blanket apology to just about everyone in my life. I've been forgetful, distracted, neglectful and flakey. And if you've been (un)lucky enough to actually get my attention, I've been exhausted, downtrodden and just generally a drag to be around. For the last six weeks or so, I've been in the middle of India. Figuratively. It's funny, because almost as soon as we...

GENERAL ADMISSION: I Aught to Know: Music
http://generaladmission.blogspot.com/2009/12/i-aught-to-know-music.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. I Aught to Know: Music. Not based on what was technically the best, but instead what I probably listened to the most. Also, some favoritism was given to the second half of the decade because even though Weezer's. Got a ton of playtime on my CD player in 2002, I can't bring myself to add it to the list. I actually might like. You Forgot It In People". Along with their later self-titled album, this was basically the soundtrack to Sarah and I planning our big trip. Like Arcade...

Thursday, January 07, 2010. A run down of the sites and videos that have caught my attention in the last week or so:. Friday, January 22, 2010. A run down of the sites and videos that have caught my attention in the last week or so:. This pretty much blows my mind into little tiny pieces. I enjoy CGI work, when its done well. But, usually, I think it tends to lack the. er. poetry of actual good cinematography. Not the case here. This piece is pretty much just atmospheric locations, but the subtle focus details and the richness of detail is incredible. All-CGI, and created by just one person. The Third and The Seventh.

Strange and Benevolent: The Home Stretch
http://strangebenevolent.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-home-stretch.html
Chronicling Sarah, Tyler, Stella and Otto's Ongoing Adventures. Thursday, April 30, 2015. A typical view while driving in this part of Ireland. On one hand it would be easy to paint it as dull or barren, but honestly it all struck me as stunning in it's starkness and rugged beauty. At one point, we passed what looked like a farm house that was being used as a staging area for a large film production, and were told later that it was likely people filming. We had entered the Kingdom of Winderfell. Initiall...

There was definitely some falling that occurred. But, most of it was more humorous than tearful. A sample portion of the trail. Still covered with a slick sheet of ice. Thoug...

Chronicling Sarah, Tyler, Stella and Otto's Ongoing Adventures. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. To Travel the rough road of life. Still, I suppose, this buys me some time to finally get caught up on the blog. So, let's see, what is happening these days. The kids are hard at work, making wine for us. At this point, the wine has been moved into the oak barrels, and it's largely a matter of climate control, which might prove to be an actual issue, since I suspect this will be a warm Summer. I do want to give a speci...

Chronicling Sarah, Tyler, Stella and Otto's Ongoing Adventures. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Winter of our non-content. Oh, right, we have a blog. So, in hopes of getting this blog back in order, I'm letting Sarah and I off the hook. I won't try to do some sort of comprehensive catch up session. Just trust us that we had a great Christmas and wonderful New Year. And, to help you imagine, here's a couple photos. Riding the Holiday Merrry-Go-Round in downtown Seattle. In Seattle, a family tradition. A close up ...
